AFC & NFR Practice Announcement

New Link Editor Anti-Financial Crime, Non-Financial Risk Management

We are thrilled to announce that Peter Brooke has joined us as Practice Lead for our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) and Non-Financial Risk (NFR) practices.   Peter has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, including senior legal and compliance roles, including Global Head of Financial Crime for Barclay’s Wealth, as well as significant consulting experience.  This includes spending five years as an ‘Individual Skilled Person’, approved by the FCA/PRA to undertake Section 166 Reviews in Financial Crime, Governance and Conduct Risk. The appointment of Peter, together with his team, will help us to further develop the services we offer to our clients in the AFC and NFR domains, building on our existing track record of delivery.

Claire Lincoln-White, Founding Partner of New Link Consulting commented “We are delighted to welcome Peter to New Link Consulting and we are very excited about how we can continue to develop our AFC and NFR practices to ensure they add value to our clients by leveraging Peter’s expertise. Peter is a leading regulatory practitioner, with a proven track record, who understands our clients’ businesses.”

Peter Brooke said “In recent years, financial services firms have typically responded to ever-increasing regulatory change and intervention by hiring more and more people. That time is now coming to an end and many of these regulatory challenges faced by firms need to be tackled differently. There needs to be a new focus on designing new, and more effective, operating models, improving processes and bringing in new technology, all supported by experienced project and programme managers. I am very much looking forward to working with the highly experienced and entrepreneurial practitioners in New Link Consulting, to help firms meet regulatory requirements much more effectively and efficiently. Our aim is to enable our clients to transform the way they manage financial crime and other regulatory risks”.
